She is from Jirapa and is 17 years old. She attends Wa Model Junior High School and currently she is in form 2. Her dream is to become a journalist and to prove her talent; she is the editor of this story

As a model, she performed in our Fashion Show in December 2013 and her pictures went all over the world. This beautiful lady will have e bright future as a journalist or as a model. Together with her roommate Rukaya, she was one of the presenters of the Child Support @ 10 celebration and people loved her performance. People abroad and in Ghana loved her beautiful smile. CHILD SUPPORT-GHANA HELD A MEETING WITH ALL CHILDREN AT THEIR RESIDENCE

On the 26th of April 2015 a meeting was held with all the children of Child Support. The meeting was about a lady, by name Sister Mabel Kavanagh, who came to visit us and give us donations. This lady came all the way from Australia and gave the children so many presents.

She gave us four crates of Malt, two crates of canned milk, two boxes of Milo, three crates of Voltic Water, a full bag of Omo and so many things more.

The director “papa” Mr. Eric Coomans also asked the children to perform some dances for her. The lady was so impressed with all the dances performed for her and she even gave the youngest child El-Lahan, who was among the dance an opportunity to come with her to Accra during the third term vacation (long vac).

Also Sister Mabel gave all the children an assignment to perform and if they are to do it to her satisfaction, she is going to select the best three to stay with her at Accra. In addition Sister Mabel made a lot of promises to the director and some of the promises she made may include:
Sister Mabel said she was trying to see if she could get a plot of land to farm and grow all kinds of vegetables for the Children’s Home. Move over this lady said those who will go out from the Children’s Home because they are eighteen years and also the Ghana law does not allow that the are under the care of the Children’s Home.

This woman surprised those three girls by the names of Rukaya, Mabel and Sanaya that they are to go to Accra during the third term vacations and work for her Department. And she also added that if they were to do well, she would give them scholarship to continue their education abroad…

This lady was so wonderful that the director of Child Support-Ghana even invited her to our 10 years anniversary party, which will be on Saturday May 2nd 2015. She will be our guest of honour.
